It bugs me when people over enunciate or mispronounce words routinely. I wince when I hear it’s “twunty” degrees or that “Steff-awn Dee-awn” is about to resign or when someone talks about the “Canada-arm”. (It’s twenty, Steff-an Dee-awn and Canadarm – one word!)
