Tid Bits For A Tuesday

Facebook is frustrating me today. I followed a friend and downloaded a new browser and the “new” facebook look and now I can’t get into it from anywhere else.  Sigh! I’m going to revert to “old school” as soon as I get to my own computer.

An unfamiliar dashboard icon lit up this morning. It looked like the Frankenstein monster’s scar in front of an A cup female breast. It was green so I didn’t worry but I couldn’t figure it out for the life of me.  Then I noticed a little dial on my headlight thingamajig was turned on.  Foglights! Ah.

Gas prices go up at every station.  Gas prices go back down at every station.  They’re all in sync no matter who owns them or where they’re located.  Still, the government says there’s no conspiracy or collusion.  Apparently you can pee on the feds’ leg and tell them it’s raining.

I’m having a problem with colleague cleavage.  Some of my coworkers are quite happily “out there” and people – male and female - have made comments that it’s inappropriate while on the job.  But I understand the reluctance to speak to an employee about such a sensitive subject.  I once had to do so with a cruiser girl when I was a Program Director. It was uncomfortable to say the least to explain to her why allowing half her butt cheeks and three-quarters of her ample bosom to fly freely was not the image our radio station wanted to project.  More difficult still, was the chat I had to have with a male subordinate about his overpowering body odour.  It’s not easy to be the boss.  But sometimes you’ve got to put your own ickies aside and let the worker in on what everyone else is saying about them, without actually telling them that.
