Open For Business
It’s official. I now hold in my little hand the Master Business License for Lisa Brandt Creative Services. I’m legit, too legit to quit.
For more than 10 years I was a partner in Davisville Productions, a feast-or-famine commercial production and voice-over shop that devolved into a sideline business. I was not the creative force by any means but I certainly contributed to the “art” and all of the boring but necessary grunt work fell to me. Now Davisville is (amicably) carrying on without me and it was time to hang out my own little shingle to say I’m open for freelance business.
Actually, business has never been better. Between newspaper and magazine columns, television work and other projects that haven’t yet had a light shine on them, I’ve got plenty to keep my grey matter busy after the radio show is done for the day. And I’m prepared to take on even more. You know what they say – if you want something done, ask a busy person to do it! And now I’ve got an official little umbrella to shelter it all.
